About this course

Course Description: Think Faster, Talk Smarter

Think Faster, Talk Smarter is a practical Business English course for professionals who need to communicate clearly when they have little or no time to prepare. Being asked an unexpected question in a meeting, challenged by a client, or invited to give an immediate opinion can create anxiety and make it difficult to organize your thoughts. Based on Matt Abrahams' approach to spontaneous communication, the course teaches practical techniques for managing speaking anxiety, reducing self-judgment, and structuring your ideas so you can respond with greater clarity and confidence.

You will learn the 3S Anxiety Management Plan, the "Dare to Be Dull" principle, and the What-So What-Now What framework for organizing spontaneous responses. You will also learn to recognize automatic speech habits, use clarifying questions to gain information and thinking time, and paraphrase effectively to confirm understanding and create deeper conversations. Along the way, you will develop practical Business English for contributing ideas, responding to difficult questions, asking for clarification, explaining your reasoning, and communicating more effectively when you are put on the spot.
